Enhancing Patient Care and Client Communications Through Digital Technology


At both Braden River and Braden River Animal Hospitals, we’ve been working hard in 2018 to integrate a better and more exciting way to enhance our relationships with you by continually striving to expand our services and communication platforms. As we finish up the month of March, we are excited to share several innovative technologies we’ve been working on including offering the complimentary BRAH and NRAH PetPage Mobile Apps to our clients. We’re also excited about the upcoming launch of our new Braden River Animal Hospital website and the redevelopment of our long-standing Braden River Animal Hospital website. As we work on improving our digital platforms, we’ve also expanded our online product offerings through our partnership with VetSource that can be accessed through our Home Delivery portals located on each of our websites.

Now, both of our practices offer a convenient way to access your pet’s health records, prescription refills, and schedule appointments. By developing a great partnership with AllyDVM, the PetPage mobile app seamlessly integrates with our AVImark practice management software while keeping our databases safe and secure and client information confidential. The PetPage app provides many features including the ability for you to receive text message updates from us when your pet is undergoing a treatment or surgical procedure at one of our veterinary hospitals. Our clients can also download pet photos directly into the app, complete surveys, submit online reviews, and more. Linked to our databases, the PetPage mobile app can be accessed through your home computer or laptop in addition to your mobile devices. The PetPage mobile app is free of charge and is available for both Android and iPhone devices.

Waiting in your email inboxes, clients from each of our practices have been sent information on how to sign up for the PetPage app if you haven’t already done so. Directions on signing up for the app are also included below. As a reminder, make sure to sign-up using the email we have on file for you at our hospital!


To get started:

1) Download the PetPage mobile app from the Google Play or Apple Store by clicking one of the links below (you must be using your mobile phone in order to install the application).

2) After you have installed and opened the PetPage app on your mobile phone, click the “sign up” button on the home page of the app. Enter the email address you have on file at our practice, choose a password and click the blue sign up button.

3) You will then be sent a confirmation email. Click the link in that email. Check your SPAM folder if you do not see the confirmation in your inbox.

Continuing our efforts to provide expert veterinary care throughout Manatee County, it seems just like yesterday when we opened Braden River Animal Hospital. Our new, 4000 sqft, state-of-the-art, sister practice located in Parrish, FL is now operating in full-swing. We are very appreciative of the very warm welcome we’ve received from the communities located east of the I-75 corridor. We are not only expanding our hours in Parrish, we’ve now completed the development of Braden River Animal Hospital’s new, mobile responsive website launching by the end of March. Simultaneously, we’re currently improving Braden River Animal Hospital’s familiar website by adding fresh content, new photos, updated staff bios and more in the near future.

Lastly, available on both of our hospital websites, we have links for you to access our online Home Delivery pet pharmacy through our partnership with VetSource. An easy way to receive your pet’s prescriptions and products, our online portal enables you to order medications and products that are conveniently delivered to your door. By offering this platform, we can fulfill pre-approved prescription requests saving you time by circumventing telephone calls (if desired) or wait times due to fax delays. We also work very hard to match prices offered by major online pharmacies in an effort to save you money. Just look for the “Home Delivery” box located on each of our websites to access the VetSource portal.
